Formed in the Fall of 22’, The Dirty Turkeys sprung from the lively music scene of Boulder, Colorado. Starting from basement jam sessions, to now headlining venues across the West, their inception birthed a raw and unfiltered approach to psychedelic rock. Led by brothers (Gonzo and Russ Hansen) and accompanied by childhood friends (Sam Baker and Ty Tullar), the band thrives on chemistry. Each member contributes a distinctive element to the sound, ultimately establishing the quintessential 4 piece band.

After picking up momentum, The Dirty Turkeys honed in on their craft in Dec of 23’, and recorded two albums – 28 songs. On their first album, “Cowboy Caravan,” the band reveals a delicate and sophisticated surf rock style, combining funky bass lines with dazed and reverbed guitar melodies. On their second album “Froth,” the band experiments with heavy psychedelic rock ballads, driven by fuzz guitar leads and poetic lyricism. These albums represent the band’s range, evolution, and growth, showcasing their raw talent, contagious energy, and boundless creativity.

During the summer of 2024, they embarked on The Cowboy Caravan Tour. Over a period of eight weeks, the band crossed five state borders, playing 25 shows at notable venues like The Viper Room, The Fox Theatre, and The Sheridan Opera House. While on tour, the band released their single Undercover Billionaire, which spread like wildfire. The future is promising for this young group of bright, talented, ambitious young men. Moving forward, The Dirty Turkeys plan to put out the best work they have to offer as they continue to progress musically.
